Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Moonrise Models ("Moonrise Models", "we", "us" or "our") operates https://moonrisecams.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit the website, apply to work with us or contact us (together, the "Services"). The Services are intended strictly for adults aged 18+.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the Services. For questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@moonrisemodels.com.
Only what you share in the form or your messages, plus standard technical logs.
Your personal information is never sold.
Only on the application pages, and never if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Ask for access, correction or deletion at any time.
1. Information we collect
When you apply. The application form asks for:
- your first name, phone number and email address (we note the country of your phone number);
- your age range, and whether you are a student, working, looking for work or something else;
- how many hours a week you could work, and whether you have a camera-ready device and a private space;
- where you would like to talk to us (WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage / SMS) and, if you choose Telegram, optionally your username there.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage / SMS or by email, we receive your messages and the contact details that come with them. After you apply, we ask you to send us the first message yourself, on the app you chose.
Technical data. Like most websites we log standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps and an approximate location derived from your IP address. If you arrive through one of our links or ads, we also record the campaign details in the link (UTM parameters) and the ad click identifier.
Sensitive data. We do not ask for sensitive data through the website, and we never ask for ID documents through the website. If you later work with us, identity and age verification happen during onboarding and are covered by the agreement you sign at that point.

2. How we use it
- to review your application and decide whether we are a good fit for each other;
- to contact you on the channel you chose, and to answer your questions;
- to operate, secure and improve the website, and to detect misuse or fraud;
- to measure how our ads perform, on the application pages only (see section 6);
- to comply with the law and enforce our terms.
3. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where these laws apply, we rely on:
- Steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing your application at your request.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@moonrisemodels.com.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the website secure, preventing abuse, keeping a record of applications and improving our services, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): where the law requires it.
- Vital interests (Art. 6(1)(d)): in rare cases, to protect someone's life or safety.
Canada: we rely on express or implied consent under PIPEDA where required. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and handle applications, under confidentiality and data protection obligations:
- Vercel: hosting and delivering the website.
- Make.com: receiving the application form and passing it to the tools below.
- Google (Google Workspace): storing and managing applications.
- Telegram: notifying our team that a new application has arrived, and, if you choose Telegram, talking to you.
- Apple and mobile carriers: if you choose iMessage / SMS, when you message us.
- Email providers (including Microsoft): sending and receiving email.
- Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook): when you message us on WhatsApp, and ad measurement through the Meta pixel and Conversions API on the application pages (see section 6).
We may also disclose information in a merger, acquisition or restructuring; to affiliates bound by this Policy; when required by valid legal process or to defend our rights; and to prevent imminent harm.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential. For the length of your visit, session storage keeps the campaign details of the link you arrived through and, after you apply, a short summary of your application so the confirmation page can greet you. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
Ad measurement (application pages only). On the apply page and the confirmation page we use the Meta pixel, which sets cookies such as _fbp and _fbc (kept for up to 90 days), to measure how our ads perform. The rest of the site does not load it. When you send an application, we may also report it to Meta as a conversion through the Conversions API, with your contact details hashed (scrambled) before they are sent.
Your choices. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the pixel. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete, aggregate or anonymise it. Backups are cycled and purged within standard retention windows. If you ask us to delete your application, we will.
8. Security
Safeguards include controlled access, network protections and organisational policies, and only a small, vetted team can see applications. No method is infallible, so please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
9. Minors
The Services are intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If someone says they are under 18, the application form stops and nothing they entered is sent. Report any such collection to contact@moonrisemodels.com and we will remove it promptly.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
- Access: confirm whether we process your data and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: ask us to erase your data where no overriding lawful basis exists.
- Restriction: limit certain processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format where feasible.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent: at any time; earlier processing remains lawful.
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise a right, email contact@moonrisemodels.com. We may verify your identity to protect your data.
11. Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no agreed standard for Do-Not-Track signals, so we do not respond to them. We honour Global Privacy Control: with it on, we do not load the Meta pixel (see section 6).
12. California (CCPA / CPRA)
No sale. We have not sold personal information in the past 12 months. The Meta pixel on our application pages may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law; you can opt out at any time with a Global Privacy Control signal or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Your rights: to know, access, correct and delete, to opt out of sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not use sensitive personal information. To make a request, email contact@moonrisemodels.com. We may ask for matching details to verify you; authorised agents need your written authorisation.
13. Virginia and other US states
Residents of Virginia and other US states with privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling. We do not sell data or profile people for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You can opt out of ad measurement with a Global Privacy Control signal or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Appeals: if we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response. We will explain our decision in writing. If it remains unresolved, you may contact your state Attorney General.
14. Updates to this Policy
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the website. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
15. Contact
Questions, requests or complaints: contact@moonrisemodels.com. Please say which right you want to exercise (for example "Access" or "Delete").
This Policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
